Media and Ecological Social Transformation in Cameroon, 11-12 March 2019

On March 11 and 12, 2019, the first media training session was held in the conference room of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, on the theme of ecological social transformation.

Environmental incivism, predation on natural resources, climate change and the loss of biodiversity are all environmental problems that are taking hold in Cameroon and on which media awareness must be questioned.

It is through lightened speeches that experts in the field of environment and communication have for two days reminded the media the importance and urgency of a greater sensitivity to the environmental problems that exists in Cameroon.

Invested in a mission of sensitization, formation and information of the mass popular, it is after conviction that economic growth and the protection of the environment are not adversaries that, the journalists are committed to carry in their respective media horizons the message received during this training.
